Solitaire and Syllables

Solitaire And Syllables

In April 2024 on spring break, I developed Pyramid.com, a digital pyramid solitaire game.

Initially a personal project, it quickly gained popularity among friends and family and I subsequently redesigned and rebuilt the game, enhancing its features and user interface.

Pyramid.com now offers three game modes: “Pyramid of the Day,” “Easy Pyramid” (always solvable), and “Classic Pyramid” (random shuffling). The game is responsive, supports both portrait and landscape orientations, and tracks player statistics.

Gameplay involves pairing cards totaling 13, using the draw pile strategically, with Kings valued at 13, Aces at 1, and face cards at 10 through 12.

Pyramid.com version 2 launched on August 19, 2024.

On October 15, 2024, my 13-year-old son Noah and I launched Word Trials.

Noah developed the initial version in Godot, which I then ported to HTML and JavaScript. We secured WordTrials.com and WordTrial.com for the project.

Word Trials challenges players to form words containing specific letter combinations within a time limit.
